Compatibility
- Part type: Dark smoke HJC HJ-17R outer visor with Pinlock mounting pins. This is the face shield, not a Pinlock insert or internal sun visor.
- Compatible helmets: HJC FG-JET and IS-33 II.
- Pinlock insert: Accepts the HJC DKS052 Pinlock 70 insert, sold separately.
- Generation check: HJ-17 for the C90, C91 and related modular helmets, HJ-S2 for the SY-MAX II, and HJ-17J for the earlier IS-33 are different visor systems. They are not interchangeable with HJ-17R.
- Sizing and use: One visor size serves the compatible helmet shell sizes. Dark smoke is intended for bright conditions and is not legal for UK public-road use. The HJ-V7 internal sun shield is a separate part.
