The F71 suits road riders who want one full-face helmet for commuting, weekend riding and touring. Its aerodynamic profile and stable visor system are useful at motorway speeds, while the integrated sun shield, glasses-friendly interior and removable lining make it practical for regular use. Riders wanting low weight, broad vision and built-in provision for an optional SMART HJC communication system are the clearest match.
Protection, Aerodynamics and Vision
The helmet uses a carbon-fibre outer shell that reduces weight while retaining the strength and impact-resistant performance expected of a premium road helmet. Three shell sizes help HJC balance overall dimensions, weight and fit across the XS to 2XL range. The shell is aerodynamically developed for stable sport-touring performance, and the ACS Advanced Channeling Ventilation System moves air from front to back to help clear heat and humidity.
The clear HJ-38 main visor provides 99% UV protection, has an anti-scratch coating and is prepared for the supplied DKS466 Pinlock anti-fog insert. HJC's Two-Way Pivot Ratchet supports smooth visor movement and improved sealing, while the dual-lock arrangement helps keep the visor secure. A wider eye port improves peripheral vision.
The integrated HJ-V12 Dynamic Multi-Step Sun Shield can be adjusted to suit changing light. It is designed to give clear, distortion-free vision and has anti-fog and anti-scratch coatings.
Comfort, Ventilation and Connectivity
HJC's Supercool interior uses moisture-wicking, quick-drying fabric. The crown and cheek pads are removable and washable, glasses grooves improve comfort for spectacle wearers, and emergency cheek-pad pull tabs assist trained responders. Reflective trim adds visibility detail in lower light.
