Protection, airflow and off-road practicality
HJC's APC Advanced Polycarbonate Compound combines polycarbonate and ABS to create a strong, impact-resistant shell while keeping weight under control. The ACS Advanced Channelling Ventilation System moves air from the front of the helmet towards the rear to help clear heat and humidity during physically demanding rides.
The fitted peak has been wind-tunnel tested and refined using computational fluid dynamics for stability and reduced drag. Its three-point tool-free mounting system makes removal and refitting straightforward, while the mouth-vent cover can also be removed for easier cleaning after a muddy or dusty ride.
Comfort and rider equipment
The anti-bacterial interior is moisture-wicking, quick-drying and odour-resistant. Measure around the widest part of your head, approximately 2.5 cm above your eyebrows and just above your ears. Use the measurement as a starting point, then check the helmet with your usual goggles where possible.

Does the HJC C50 include a peak?

Do I need separate goggles?
Yes. The C50 does not use a conventional road-helmet face shield. Its wide eye port and strap channel are designed for compatible off-road goggles, which are sold separately.
Can the interior be washed?
Yes. The crown liner and cheek pads are removable and washable. Always follow HJC's helmet-care instructions and allow the interior to dry naturally.
Can I fit a Bluetooth intercom?
