This women’s fit is certified to EN 17092:2020, Class A, and includes low-profile D3O® Ghost Level 1 shoulder and elbow protectors.

Who is the Held Tropic 4 Top Women’s for?

This jacket is designed for women riders who prioritise airflow in warm conditions and want Held’s women’s regular fit. Held classifies the Tropic 4 Top for summer adventure, sport and touring use, making it suitable for hot-weather commuting, urban riding and longer road journeys. It does not have a waterproof membrane or removable waterproof liner, so separate rain protection is needed in wet weather.

Moto Central’s size selector uses S to 3XL, while the SKU and Held size code use the equivalent DS to D3XL notation. Measure around the fullest part of your chest, your natural waist and the fullest part of your hips. All measurements are in centimetres and come from Held’s current women’s regular textile clothing chart.

Is the Tropic 4 Top waterproof?

No. Held specifies that this summer mesh jacket has no waterproof membrane. Its open mesh construction is intended to maximise ventilation, so separate rainwear is recommended for wet conditions.

What protection is included?

The jacket includes height-adjustable D3O® Ghost shoulder and elbow protectors certified to EN 1621-1:2012, Level 1. A back protector and chest protector are optional.

What is the jacket’s protection class?

The Tropic 4 Top is certified to EN 17092:2020, Class A.

Why do the product sizes and SKU codes look different?

Moto Central displays familiar S to 3XL labels. Held identifies the corresponding women’s sizes as DS, DM, DL, DXL, DXXL and D3XL. The table above shows the exact mapping.

Is the Held eVest a heated liner?

No. Held eVest and eVest PRO are electronic motorcycle airbag systems. The jacket is prepared for these optional systems, but neither is supplied.

Does the reflective material make it a high-visibility jacket?

No. Reflective sections can improve conspicuity in suitable lighting, but this Anthracite jacket is not a certified high-visibility garment.
