The Held eVest 2 Electronic Motorcycle Airbag Vest in Anthracite combines an In&motion-controlled airbag with an integrated Level 2 D3O® back protector. Breathable mesh construction and Held Clip-in Technology make it suitable for road, touring, adventure, sport and urban riders who want electronic airbag protection beneath compatible protective motorcycle clothing.
Important: the In&box control module is not included. The airbag cannot operate without an In&box, which must be obtained and activated separately through In&motion using the My In&box app. Purchase or rental and any selected service plan involve additional costs.

Class C protective clothing is designed to hold impact protection in place but does not provide the minimum comprehensive abrasion protection of Class AAA, AA, A or B clothing. The eVest 2 must therefore be used with suitable abrasion-resistant protective motorcycle clothing.

In&box and activation requirements
- Obtain an In&box control module directly through In&motion using the My In&box app. In&motion offers purchase and rental routes, subject to its current regional terms and charges.
- Activate the In&box and the airbag product through In&motion before first use.
- Insert the activated In&box correctly into the vest and complete the checks in the In&box and eVest manuals before every ride.
The vest is not operational without an activated In&box. Current plan prices, riding modes and service conditions should be checked directly with In&motion because they can change by country and over time.
Held eVest 2 size guide
Held publishes the following unstretched garment measurements, not body measurements. The waist is measured 20 cm below armpit height. Correct airbag fit and sufficient deployment room beneath the outer jacket are essential, so these figures should be used alongside the product manual and an in-person fitting.

Moto Central strongly recommends an in-store fitting with the protective jacket you intend to wear. The combination must allow the airbag to deploy without the outer garment being excessively tight.

Compatibility and optional equipment
Held Clip-in Technology allows integration with compatible Held motorcycle clothing. Internal loops also support the optional connecting-zip adapter, article 092390. Always confirm that the complete vest-and-jacket combination is approved for use and provides enough space for deployment.
Product questions
Is the In&box included in the price?
No. Held explicitly states that the control module is not supplied. It must be purchased or rented separately from In&motion and activated before the vest can operate.
Does the eVest 2 replace a protective motorcycle jacket?
No. Its EN 17092-6 Class C/U classification does not provide comprehensive abrasion protection. Wear it with suitable Class AAA, AA, A or B protective motorcycle clothing.
Which areas does the airbag cover?
Held specifies coverage for the abdomen, chest, back and neck.
Is a back protector included?
Yes. A D3O® back protector certified to EN 1621-2:2014, Level 2, is integrated into the vest.
Can it be used without activating the In&box?
The integrated passive back protector remains present, but the electronic airbag system is not operational without an activated In&box.

Held provides a standard two-year warranty from purchase and offers registration for an extended five-year warranty on Held airbag vests, subject to its current terms.
