Product Details
The Dainese Overyond XT Gore-Tex boots in Black / Black are men's medium-height, four-season motorcycle boots for road touring and easy dirt roads. They combine a waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex Performance Comfort membrane with a pressed Perwanger leather upper, modular shin protection and a Groundtrax rubber outsole.
This is an adventure-touring design for riders who want protective road footwear with the flexibility and walking comfort needed for longer journeys. The removable Extended Shin Guard lets you choose greater freedom of movement for road use or more extensive shin coverage for light off-road riding.

Construction and protection
The pressed Perwanger leather upper is selected for durability and abrasion resistance, while stretch fabric inserts support movement on and off the motorcycle. Protection includes rigid ankle and shin inserts, reinforced toe and heel areas and a gear-shifter guard.
Dainese certifies the Overyond XT Gore-Tex as Category II motorcycle footwear to EN 13634. The removable Extended Shin Guard is part of the boot's modular protection system, allowing the level of shin coverage to be adapted to road touring or easy dirt-road use.
Fastening and fit adjustment
Two adjustable magnesium buckles and a hook-and-loop closure provide a quick, secure fastening. Calf straps allow the upper section to be adjusted for different leg shapes and riding layers.
Gore-Tex Performance Comfort membrane
The Gore-Tex Performance Comfort membrane is a four-layer laminate designed to balance waterproof weather protection with breathability. Dainese specifies it for changing conditions across the seasons, including colder rides and warmer-weather touring. No submersion or separate IP rating is claimed.
Groundtrax touring and light off-road sole
The Groundtrax rubber outsole uses a dedicated tread pattern and compound for stability and traction on foot pegs, controls and varied ground. It is designed to combine motorcycle grip with comfort while walking, making the boots suitable for touring stops and light outdoor use.

Questions and answers
Are the Overyond XT boots waterproof?
Yes. Dainese specifies a waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex Performance Comfort membrane. Correct fastening, care and fit remain important for weather protection.
Are these boots intended only for road riding?
No. Dainese designed them for road touring and easy dirt roads. They are not described as competition motocross boots.
What changes between the Black and Black/Grey versions?
The colour treatment changes; the verified Overyond XT construction, protection, membrane and sole specification are shared by both versions.
How should I choose a size?
Use the measured foot length in the table rather than relying only on a usual trainer size. Allow for the riding socks you normally wear. Moto Central can help with fitting in the Wolvey showroom if you are between sizes or unsure about calf adjustment.
Care and guarantee
Follow Dainese's current leather and Gore-Tex footwear care guidance. Remove surface dirt gently and use only products suitable for the materials and membrane. Dainese UK states a two-year legal guarantee against lack of conformity, subject to its terms and proof of purchase.
