Dainese Metractive Air Motorcycle Shoes in Black/Black/White combine certified riding protection with the look and walking comfort of a street shoe. Their highly ventilated knit upper and mesh lining make them particularly well suited to warm-weather commuting, urban riding and everyday journeys.
The design supports both time on the motorcycle and time on foot. Dainese uses an asymmetric Groundtrax rubber outsole with differentiated gear-shift and brake areas, while the OrthoLite footbed provides breathable, long-lasting cushioning. This is the ventilated Metractive Air model and Dainese does not describe it as waterproof.

To measure foot length, place a tape measure on the floor with its end against a wall. Stand with your heel against the wall and measure to the end of the longest toe. Measure both feet and use the longer result when consulting the chart.
Questions and answers
Are the Dainese Metractive Air shoes waterproof?
No. This Air version is designed around ventilation and Dainese does not list a waterproof membrane. The separate Metractive D-WP model is the waterproof version.
Can they be worn off the motorcycle?
Yes. Dainese designed the Groundtrax outsole and OrthoLite footbed to provide walking comfort as well as stability while riding.
How are the laces kept secure?
The shoes include a lace garage on the tongue and an elastic retaining band, helping to keep the laces contained while riding.
