- Bell reference: 39143-B74-OS. This is the one-size iridium dark silver external face shield. It fits every helmet size across the three Lithium shell sizes; there is no separate small-shell or large-shell shield.
- Generation distinction: Do not use this shield for the newer Bell Lithium Mips+ based only on the ClickRelease V2 name. Bell lists a separate 40572 Click Release V2 Pinlock Shield Plus family for Lithium Mips+ helmets.
- Part distinction: This is the complete iridium outer face shield. It is not the 36162 internal drop-down sun shield, a Pinlock anti-fog insert, a tear-off film, the 36161 hinge plate kit or a ProTint photochromic shield.
- Pinlock: Pinlock-ready means the outer shield accepts the appropriate separate insert. The insert is not part of this outer shield listing unless the package contents expressly state otherwise.
