Alpinestars Supertech R10 AFHS-01 GEN1 Tear-Off Set
Genuine Alpinestars pack of three transparent disposable tear-off films for the original AFHS-01 shield system used on the Supertech R10 helmet. The exact manufacturer reference is 8950824010.
Compatibility
- Compatible helmet and shield: Alpinestars Supertech R10, also called S-R10, fitted with the original AFHS-01 GEN1 outer shield.
- Selection: One size. Fitment is determined by the outer-shield generation rather than helmet size or shell group.
- Not compatible with: The later Supertech R10 / Supertech R7 GEN2 or S-02 shield system. Alpinestars specifies separate GEN2 tear-offs, reference 8952425.
Important Tear-Off Information
These are thin removable films that mount over the outside of the compatible shield and can be peeled away when soiled. The pack does not include the helmet’s main outer shield or the retaining-pin set.
This product is not a Pinlock insert. Pinlock DKS514 reference 8951024001 is a separate anti-fog lens fitted inside the AFHS-01 GEN1 shield, while these tear-offs fit outside it.
Tear-offs are intended principally for controlled track use. Follow circuit rules and remove them before road use where required. Dispose of removed films responsibly.
Fitting
Fit only to a clean, dry and undamaged AFHS-01 GEN1 shield using the correct tear-off pins. Keep the pull tabs accessible and follow the helmet or circuit instructions for the permitted number of stacked films.
