THOR boots are made for motocross and off-road riding, with tall Radial and Blitz XR designs, shorter Blitz XRS options and dedicated adult, ladies, youth and mini sizes. The collection is broad enough that the model name and size range matter just as much as the colour.
Moto Central brings these options together with THOR helmets, jerseys, pants and gloves, making it easier to compare a complete off-road kit without treating every boot as the same specification.
Tall motocross boots such as Radial and Blitz XR are designed to cover more of the shin and lower leg. They should work with the knee area of your riding trousers and any separate knee protection without leaving an awkward gap or forcing the knee out of position. The shorter Blitz XRS has a different coverage profile, so compare it with the protection and support you need rather than choosing on appearance alone.
Model labels also identify different fit groups. Adult, ladies, youth and mini boots are not interchangeable descriptions for the same last. Check the size chart attached to the exact product, then confirm calf room, ankle hold and toe-box comfort while wearing the socks and lower-leg protection you normally use.
Current THOR information lists the Radial and Blitz XR as EN 13634:2017 tested and certified models, but the precise rating, closure layout, sole, shin construction and replaceable parts should be confirmed on the individual product page. Do not transfer a feature from one family to another simply because both carry the THOR name.
A new boot should hold the heel securely without crushing the toes or creating a sharp pressure point at the ankle. Fasten every buckle or strap, flex into a standing riding position and check that you can operate the gear lever and rear brake. Make sure the upper closes securely around your calf and any knee guard without being forced.
Allow for the stiffness of a new off-road boot, but do not rely on wear to correct a fundamentally wrong size. If your foot lifts inside the boot, the toes contact the end or the closure is at the limit of its adjustment, compare another size or family.
Pair the boots with correctly sized THOR pants. In-the-boot trousers should sit cleanly inside without bunching, while over-the-boot designs need enough hem room to cover the upper. After muddy rides, remove loose dirt, follow the care instructions for the boot materials and inspect soles, buckles, straps and stitching before the next session.
Moto Central stocks several THOR boot families and colourways, plus the wider motocross boot collection. Use the full product name when comparing sizes or looking for replacement components, because Radial and Blitz parts are not automatically interchangeable.
No. Radial and Blitz XR are tall off-road designs, while Blitz XRS is shorter. Check the individual product images and specification.
Not in every family. THOR currently advises ordering the men's Radial one UK size down. Always use the chart for the exact model.
Do not assume so. Adult, ladies, youth and mini ranges can use different proportions and size systems. Match the rider's measurements to the relevant chart.
No. Match buckles, straps and other components by exact boot family, generation, colour and product code where available.
