Moto Central’s Spada Textile Jackets collection ranges from ventilated summer jackets and waterproof road styles to protective hoodies, bomber jackets and women-specific options. The useful comparison is the role each jacket is designed to perform, because construction, garment class, armour provision, waterproofing and ventilation vary across the range.
Spada’s current official jacket catalogue includes A, AA and AAA classified garments, but those ratings belong to individual products. A jacket described as waterproof or ventilated also carries that feature only for the named model and generation. Check the exact product specification rather than applying one set of claims to every Spada textile jacket.
Cafe Air and Hooded Air are among the airflow-focused families in the current range. They suit warmer conditions better than a sealed all-weather jacket, but a ventilated construction should not be assumed to be waterproof. Consider a separate rain layer if the forecast is uncertain.
Products such as Crossguard, Joe and selected City Nav and Hairpin versions are explicitly identified as waterproof. Compare jacket length, closure layout, removable layers and trouser connection details on the individual page. “Waterproof” describes weather management, not the garment’s protective class.
Blade hoodies and Airforce bomber styles offer a more casual appearance while remaining motorcycle garments on the relevant certified listings. Do not confuse them with ordinary leisurewear. Check the garment class, supplied protectors and whether a back protector is included or available separately.
Names such as Rev.2 and 2.0 identify a particular version. Materials, armour and weather features can change between generations, so use the complete product title when comparing or replacing a jacket.
Moto Central brings together multiple Spada jacket families, colours, generations and fits in one collection. That makes it easier to compare a vented Cafe Air with a waterproof Crossguard, a Blade hoodie or an Airforce bomber while keeping their intended uses separate. Each product page shows current sizes, availability and the specification for that exact jacket.
For other constructions and brands, browse all motorcycle jackets. Complete your setup with motorcycle trousers, or return to the wider Spada clothing collection.
No. Some are specifically waterproof, while ventilated and other urban styles prioritise different functions. Check the complete product name and specification.
No. Protector provision and levels vary. Confirm shoulder, elbow and back protection separately for the exact model.
No. Certified motorcycle hoodies are purpose-made riding garments. Casual Spada clothing should not be treated as protective equipment.
Use the model’s size guidance, then assess sleeve length and armour position in a riding stance with your intended layers underneath.
