RST Textile Trousers

8 products

Showing 1 - 8 of 8 products

RST textile motorcycle trousers cover commuting, touring and rides where temperatures change through the day. Start with the conditions you expect, then compare membrane construction, ventilation and removable insulation. Fit matters just as much as weather features, particularly at the knees, seat and boot openings.

RST Pro Series Adventure D3O Textile Trouser Grey / Black — Adventure D3O: a touring-trouser illustration.

RST Pro Series Ventilator XT CE Textile Jeans Green / Black — Ventilator XT: a ventilation-focused alternative.

RST Pro Series Paragon D3O Textile Trouser Black / Black — Paragon D3O: another weather-focused trouser design.

Separate waterproofing from warmth

A waterproof membrane and a thermal liner do different jobs. Establish which layers are fixed, which can be removed and how that changes the space inside the trousers. RST’s Paragon D3O pants illustrate a fixed SinAqua membrane with removable heavyweight insulation. That arrangement should not be assumed for every textile model. Consider how easily you can alter the outfit during a journey and where removed layers will be carried.

Match ventilation to your normal riding

Compare vent positions and how airflow reaches the rider through the complete layer system. A trouser with closable vents behaves differently from a mesh-focused design, especially in cooler weather. Look at the seat and inner-leg construction as well as the front panels. For touring, useful details can include adjustment, braces, practical pockets and a jacket connection, but check which features the exact model supplies.

Fit knees, boots and jacket together

Test the trousers seated with the knee and hip protectors in place. The waist should stay secure without pulling across the seat, and the knees should bend without dragging the armour away from its intended position. Compare standard and alternative leg lengths where offered. Check boot overlap and the exact jacket zip pairing. Paragon D3O is a named example with knee and hip armour; protection levels and included pieces must be confirmed for your chosen version.

Complete a compatible outfit with RST textile jackets.
