RST Textile Jackets

Showing 1 - 1 of 1 product

RST textile jackets range from ventilated summer clothing to commuting and touring designs with more weather-focused features. Start with the conditions you ride in most often, then compare waterproof construction, insulation, airflow and fit as separate decisions. The word textile covers many arrangements and does not guarantee that every jacket is waterproof or suitable for every season.

RST Spectre Air D3O Textile Jacket Silver — Spectre Air D3O: a mesh-oriented summer jacket.

RST Pro Series Adventure-X CE Textile Jacket Black / Black — Adventure X: a touring and adventure jacket illustration.

RST Pilot Evo CE Textile Jacket Black / Black / Black — Pilot Evo: a different textile jacket shape and feature set.

Distinguish airflow from weather protection

Large mesh panels prioritise airflow, while a waterproof membrane and its position within the jacket affect how you manage rain. RST’s Spectre Air illustrates the summer mesh approach; the Pro Series Paragon is a separate waterproof touring design. Check whether any thermal or waterproof layer is fixed, removable or worn separately, and how much room remains when the layers are fitted. Vent openings and mesh panels should not be assumed to work identically.

Check armour and adjustment in your riding stance

Fasten the jacket and reach forward as you would to the bars. Shoulder and elbow protection should stay aligned, with sleeve and waist adjustment keeping the garment secure. Read the exact product’s list of supplied protectors: a pocket for an insert does not mean the insert is included. Check cuff space with your gloves and collar comfort with your helmet, particularly when adding colder-weather layers.

Plan the complete journey

For longer rides, assess pocket access, hem coverage and the jacket-to-trouser connection. Try the intended trousers with the jacket before relying on a compatible zip, and check how the waterproof layers overlap according to their instructions. Different generations within a familiar RST family can change construction and armour. Follow the care label for washing and any water-repellent treatment, and inspect closures and seams after regular use.

For a different outer construction, compare RST leather jackets.

Compare the layers you will actually wear

Bring your usual gloves and base layers to Moto Central to assess available RST textile jackets with their weather layers fitted.
