Richa women’s motorcycle clothing and equipment offers choices for commuting, touring, sports riding and everyday road use. Build your outfit around your proportions, riding position and the weather you expect, then compare jackets, trousers, gloves and footwear as a complete combination. Women’s sizing is a starting point; the right cut and adjustment still need checking on you.

Richa Airsummer Ladies Touring Mesh Textile Jacket Black — Airsummer ladies mesh jacket: an example of clothing designed around airflow for warm rides.

Richa Cyclone 2 Ladies Touring Gore-Tex Trouser Black — Cyclone 2 ladies Gore-Tex trousers: a touring trouser shape to compare with your jacket and boots.

Richa Jade Ladies Waterproof Riding Shoes Black — Jade ladies riding shoes: the shorter footwear shape illustrates why trouser-hem overlap needs checking.

Start with the journeys you make

For a daily commute, think about changing at your destination, pocket access and how easily the outfit goes on over your usual layers. For touring, consider hours in the saddle, adjustment and ventilation rather than choosing solely by appearance. Leather road kit, textile touring clothing and casual-looking protective garments offer different ways to build an outfit.

Women’s gloves and footwear deserve the same attention as jackets and trousers. Check finger length and cuff overlap with your jacket, then try boots with your trouser hems. A comfortable individual item can still create an awkward gap or bulky overlap when worn with the rest of your kit.

Measure for the garment, then try the riding position

Richa’s size guide uses body measurements, taken against the skin or over thin clothing. Use the guide for the relevant garment, together with its specific fit information. Your jacket and trousers may need different sizes; a familiar high-street size is not a reliable substitute for measuring.

Reach towards the handlebars and bend your knees. Check that the waist remains covered, sleeves do not pull uncomfortably and protectors stay over their intended areas. If the waist fits but the hips or shoulders do not, compare a different cut rather than accepting restricted movement. For trousers, check the offered leg length as well as waist and hip fit.

Choose weather functions separately

Airflow, rain protection and insulation are different features. Richa’s women’s Airsummer jacket illustrates the warm-weather approach with mesh panels and fixed ventilation. The women’s Cyclone 2 GTX jacket illustrates a touring approach, with a Gore-Tex membrane, adjustable ventilation and a detachable thermal lining. These examples help explain the choices; they do not define the whole range or promise permanent availability.

Decide whether you want an adaptable outfit or separate kit for warm and wet journeys. Try a touring garment with the layers you expect to wear, and check the fit again when removable insulation is taken out. Mesh or leather alone does not establish waterproofing, and a waterproof membrane does not tell you how warm a garment will feel.

Check supplied protection and complete the outfit

Read the exact model’s garment classification and armour list separately. Richa lists shoulder and elbow protection for the women’s Airsummer, with back protection optional. That distinction matters: a pocket or upgrade option does not mean the protector is included. Do not transfer one model’s classification or protector level to another.

Verify jacket-to-trouser zip compatibility before planning a connected outfit. For heated gloves, confirm the required power supply and what is supplied with that version. Base and mid-layers add comfort but do not replace protective outer clothing. If you use an airbag, follow the specific system and garment instructions for fit and expansion space.

Try the combination together

Bring your usual layers and any boots or gloves you want to keep using to our showroom. Comparing the complete outfit in a riding posture makes it easier to assess coverage, movement and armour position.
