REV'IT! Waterproof

REV'IT! waterproof over-clothing is designed to go on when rain interrupts the ride. The range at Moto Central includes separate rain jackets and trousers, smock-style tops and the Pacific 4 H2O one-piece oversuit. These are packable weather layers intended to be worn with your normal motorcycle clothing, not substitutes for protective jackets and trousers.

One-piece or separate rainwear?

A one-piece rain oversuit reduces the gap between jacket and trousers and can be useful when you expect sustained rain. The Pacific 4 H2O uses a long diagonal entry zip and packs away when conditions improve. Practise putting it on over your boots and riding kit before a wet roadside stop.

Separate rain jackets and trousers give more flexibility. You can carry or replace each part independently and put on only the layer needed. Cyclone 4 H2O, Nitric 4 H2O, Smock Photon, Trackmaster H2O and Barrier designs do not all share the same construction, entry system or adjustments, so compare the exact listing rather than treating every H2O product as identical.

How to size rain over-clothing

Rainwear needs enough room for the jacket, armour and trousers underneath while remaining controlled at speed. Try the complete combination in a riding position. You should be able to reach the bars, bend your knees and turn your head without the outer layer pulling tight.

• Measure over your riding kit: everyday clothing measurements alone may not allow for armour and insulated liners.
• Check cuffs and lower legs: they must pass over the intended gloves or boots and then close securely.
• Review the entry: a smock, zipped jacket and one-piece suit each require a different way of dressing at the roadside.
• Choose colour separately from fit: neon panels can increase conspicuity, but colour does not change the need for correct sizing or safe riding.

Prepare for wet journeys

Moto Central groups the current REV'IT! over-jackets, over-trousers and oversuits together so you can compare coverage and packing format without confusing them with waterproof protective garments. For primary riding layers, see REV'IT! textile jackets and REV'IT! textile trousers, or return to the wider REV'IT! range.

After use, follow the care label, let the garment dry fully and inspect seams, closures and high-wear areas before repacking it. Keep the layer accessible in your luggage rather than buried beneath equipment you would need to unload in the rain.

Customer questions

Do I size REV'IT! rainwear like a normal jacket?

No. Use the individual size guide and allow for the protective clothing and liners you will wear beneath it.

Does every REV'IT! rain product use the same waterproof construction?

No. Materials, linings, adjustments and entry systems vary by model. Check the specification for the exact jacket, trouser or suit.

Can I wear rain over-trousers instead of motorcycle trousers?

No. Rain over-trousers are weather layers. Wear suitable protective motorcycle trousers underneath.
