REV'IT! Textile Jackets

REV'IT! textile motorcycle jackets span lightweight city mesh, ventilated touring, waterproof H2O, multi-layer adventure and road-sport designs. The range includes men's and women's fits, but certification, armour, membrane, liners and ventilation differ by model and generation. Moto Central brings these options together so riders can choose for their actual route and season.

Choosing a REV'IT! textile jacket

Decide first whether airflow, wet-weather protection or seasonal flexibility matters most. Eclipse and Airwave families focus on ventilation, while H2O jackets use the hydratex construction stated for that product. Some touring and adventure jackets use removable waterproof and thermal layers; others use fixed membranes or separate over-layers. A mesh jacket is not waterproof simply because it belongs to the same brand.

Warm-weather, waterproof and multi-season jackets

• Mesh and Air jackets: compare mesh coverage, garment class and included armour. Eclipse 2 and Airwave 4 have different specifications even though both are designed around airflow.
• H2O jackets: check whether the hydratex layer is fixed, detachable or designed to work over the protective shell. The product name alone does not explain the whole liner system.
• Adventure and touring jackets: consider vent operation, pocket layout, adjustment, thermal layers and the matching trouser connection. These vary between Sand, Outback, Offtrack and other families.
• Road-sport textile jackets: assess the cut in a forward riding position and confirm armour, class and connection options on the named model.
• Women's jackets: use the women-specific chart and check shoulder, waist, sleeve and armour placement rather than relying on a converted men's size.

Armour, certification and fit

REV'IT! uses several protector families. A jacket may include SEESMART or SEEFLEX shoulder and elbow armour and may be prepared for an optional SEESOFT back or chest protector. Prepared for does not mean supplied. Check the garment class, protector level and included body zones on the individual item.

Try the jacket in your normal riding position with the layers you plan to use. Elbow and shoulder armour should remain centred, sleeves should cover the wrists without bunching, and the collar should close comfortably. If an airbag is planned, follow the exact compatibility and sizing guidance for both products.

Completing the kit

Compare these jackets with REV'IT! textile trousers, REV'IT! gloves, REV'IT! boots and compatible motorcycle body armour. The wider REV'IT! collection also includes leather, jeans, base layers and accessories.

Why buy REV'IT! textile jackets from Moto Central?

Moto Central stocks a broad spread of REV'IT! textile jacket families, sizes and colours, making it practical to compare mesh, waterproof and layered designs without applying one model's technology to the rest. Product pages keep armour, membrane and fit details tied to the exact jacket.

Customer questions

Are all REV'IT! textile jackets waterproof?

No. Mesh and other dry-weather jackets sit alongside H2O and GTX options. Check the named waterproof system on the exact product.

Is a back protector included?

It varies. Many jackets are prepared for a compatible protector rather than supplied with one, so check the product contents and required shape.

What is the difference between Eclipse 2 and Airwave 4?

Both prioritise airflow, but they have different construction, certification and armour specifications. Compare the individual pages rather than choosing by ventilation alone.

How should a textile jacket fit?

It should allow normal control movement while keeping the armour centred. Test it in a riding posture with intended liners and layers fitted.
