REV'IT! Body Armour

REV'IT! body armour covers more than one kind of upgrade. This collection includes protectors made for garment pockets, wearable back protectors, knee guards, a neck brace and protective base garments such as the Nucleus and Proteus. Choosing by the product name alone is risky: the body zone, protector reference, certification level, size and intended host garment all matter.

Choose the right type of motorcycle armour

Insert protectors fit a compatible pocket in a jacket or pair of trousers. The collection includes back, shoulder, elbow, hip, knee and divided chest options from SEESOFT, SEEFLEX and SEESMART families. Each reference has its own shape and dimensions. RV, KN and numbered references are not interchangeable labels, so match the code and size recommended for your exact garment.

Wearable protection is held on the body independently of an outer shell. The Nucleus protective jacket, Proteus protector jacket, Slingshot and Spina back protectors, Scram knee protectors and Segur neck brace serve different purposes. Some can sit beneath compatible outer clothing, while others are dedicated guards or harness systems. Check the individual product page before combining layers.

Protector level, position and fit

A CE level belongs to the named protector and test standard, not to every item carrying the same technology name. For example, REV'IT! identifies the SEESOFT Type RV back insert and SEEFLEX RV15 elbow set as Level 2 products, while other references may have different ratings or uses. Read the specification for the exact item you are buying.

• Confirm the body zone: shoulder, elbow, back, chest, hip and knee protectors have different forms.
• Match the reference: compare the RV or KN type, model number and size with the label or compatibility information for your garment.
• Check riding position: armour should remain over the intended area when your arms and knees are bent, without creating pressure points.
• Allow for layers: a wearable protector should sit securely, while the outer garment must still close and move freely over it.

Build the protection around your riding kit

Moto Central keeps REV'IT! armour alongside the wider REV'IT! clothing range, making it easier to compare a protector with the jacket, trousers or base garment it is intended to complement. You can also browse REV'IT! textile jackets and REV'IT! textile trousers when planning a complete set-up.

Use the product photographs, size choices and specification on each listing rather than assuming that a protector fits every generation. This is particularly important when upgrading an older garment or replacing armour whose reference label is no longer clear.

Customer questions

Will any REV'IT! back protector fit my REV'IT! jacket?

No. Back protector pockets and recommended sizes vary. Match the protector type and size to the exact jacket model and garment size.

Are SEEFLEX, SEESOFT and SEESMART the same?

No. They are distinct protector families, and the product reference, body zone and stated certification must be checked individually.

Can protective base armour replace a road jacket?

Do not assume so. A protector garment supplies the coverage stated on its own product page; your complete riding outfit must provide the abrasion, impact and weather performance appropriate to the ride.
