REV'IT! Base Layers

REV'IT! motorcycle base layers sit between the rider and protective outer clothing, helping with comfort, moisture management and easier layering. The collection includes separate tops and leggings as well as one-piece undersuits, with different products aimed at warm conditions, colder rides or use beneath close-fitting leathers.

Warm-weather, thermal and one-piece options

Airborne 2 tops and leggings provide a matched two-piece option, while Thermic separates are intended for riders prioritising insulation. Heliox adds another top-and-trouser pairing. Excellerator 2 and Blast are one-piece undersuits, useful when you want continuous coverage under a leather suit and fewer overlapping waist seams.

How to choose and layer

Begin with season and outer kit. A lightweight, close-fitting layer can help move perspiration away from the skin in warm conditions, while a thermal layer adds insulation in colder weather. The fabric should sit close enough to work as intended without restricting movement or creating pressure beneath armour.

Match top and leg coverage to your jacket, trousers or one-piece suit. Flat seams and stretch are useful under close-fitting kit, but exact fabric, panel and seam construction varies, so consult the individual product details. Wash and dry the garment according to its care label to preserve its fit and performance.

Why buy REV'IT! base layers from Moto Central?

Moto Central groups the matching tops, leggings and one-piece undersuits so you can compare complete layering options alongside REV'IT! outerwear. For wet-weather coverage, see REV'IT! waterproof layers, or compare broader motorcycle base layers.

Customer questions

Is a base layer protective motorcycle clothing?

No. It is worn for comfort and temperature management beneath suitable protective riding kit.

Should a motorcycle base layer fit tightly?

It should sit close to the body without limiting movement, chafing or creating pressure under armour.

Is a one-piece undersuit better than separates?

It depends on your outer kit. One-piece designs reduce waist overlap, while separates are easier to mix, remove and use across different outfits.
