Choose iPhone 6s cases and accessories around the standard 4.7-inch handset, your existing mounting hardware and the conditions you ride in. A good setup balances everyday handling with secure attachment and straightforward wired power. The 6s Plus is a different size, so the small details in compatibility lists are especially important.

Small differences can decide the fit
Apple specifies the iPhone 6s at 138.3 x 67.1 x 7.1mm. Its dimensions are close to those of the iPhone 6, but close dimensions alone do not prove that a case or cover is suitable. Use an explicit manufacturer fitment listing. Check the edge around the Home button, the camera cut-out and the side buttons after fitting, and make sure the case sits evenly rather than bowing or leaving a corner partly released.
Read shared-model listings all the way through
An accessory may legitimately list several standard-size iPhones. Another may be intended for their Plus counterparts. This distinction is particularly easy to miss with clear weather covers, whose photographs can look similar. Check the complete model name and the case family it fits over. A cover intended to stretch over a particular mounting case is not a substitute for the case itself, and should not be stretched onto a smaller or larger combination.
Work out the mounting connection
SP Connect's illustrated SPC+ case is a researched example of a mounting case for the 6s. Its interior detail image helps show the construction; it is not a separate item in a kit. Before choosing a motorcycle bracket, identify any hardware you already own. Moving from original SPC to SPC+ may require the approved adaptor or a replacement head, with further checks for older damping and charging modules. Check included parts rather than assuming the case and mount arrive as a complete system.
Give cables and controls enough room
The 6s charges through Lightning and has no integrated Qi wireless charging. Leave enough room below the case for your actual plug, especially if the phone sits close to a tank or instrument panel. Route the cable so that turning the bars does not pull on the socket. Try the release movement while parked and ensure the bracket does not hold down a button or obstruct the instruments. Damping accessories also add height, so include them in the clearance check.
Prepare an older phone for regular use
Before a longer ride, check battery behaviour, available storage and whether your navigation app still works as you need it to. Download the relevant route information in advance where your app supports it. Keep attachment surfaces clean and inspect the case for damage around the locking feature. Weather protection, screen access and the ability to remove the phone at a stop are worth testing together, rather than discovering an awkward combination in rain.
