Shark S800 is a full-face helmet with a thermoplastic shell and quick-release buckle. Its original design combines a removable lining with ventilation and a quick-release visor, making exact model identification useful when comparing helmets or sourcing service parts.
The original technical record identifies the S800’s shell material and retention arrangement. Related S-series helmets may share a visor application without sharing the complete specification. Use the helmet label and its own instructions when assessing an example.
A replacement listing can include S650, S800 or other model names, but check the full fitting statement and your existing mechanism before ordering. Clear, chromium and gold finishes do not change that requirement. Do not infer tint suitability or supplied anti-fog equipment from a photograph alone.
A clear view is only one part of a usable helmet. Check fit around the crown and cheeks, the buckle’s condition and secure operation, and the state of the comfort lining. An older helmet with uncertain history needs a complete assessment before further investment in accessories.
Visit our Leicestershire showroom for help with fit or identifying a component. Bring the helmet details and the existing part so we can start with the correct model.
