Icon Hooligan
9 products
Showing 1 - 9 of 9 products
The Icon Hooligan collection centres on lightweight, short-cuff motorcycle gloves for riders who want direct control feel and an easy on-and-off design. Most of the range uses a ventilated polyester-mesh backhand and an Ax Laredo palm, while the Hooligan Insulated changes the chassis for cooler conditions. There are several graphics and colours, plus a women's version with its own sizing.
The standard Hooligan CE, Hooligan Flyboy CE and women's Hooligan CE share the key warm-weather formula: internal knuckle padding, a hook-and-loop wrist closure and touchscreen-compatible fingers. Icon states that these gloves are tested to EN 13594:2015 Level 1.

Choose the right Hooligan glove
Hooligan CE and graphic versions
Choose the regular Hooligan CE for warm-weather airflow and a thin, flexible feel at the controls. The colour and graphic options change the appearance, not the underlying purpose. The Flyboy version in this collection follows the same vented mesh, Ax Laredo palm, padded-knuckle and short-cuff layout.
Women's Hooligan CE
The women's model is not simply another colour. It has a separate size range, so use its own product-page size guide and measure your hand rather than transferring a label from a different glove. The protective standard and main materials remain consistent with the regular Hooligan CE.
Hooligan Insulated
The insulated version is the outlier in this collection. Icon replaces the vented backhand emphasis with an insulated softshell chassis for cold-weather comfort, while retaining the Ax Laredo palm, hook-and-loop closure and touchscreen-enabled fingertips. It is still a low-profile short-cuff glove, not a waterproof winter gauntlet.
Fit and control feel
A motorcycle glove should sit close enough that excess material does not bunch at the palm or fingertips. At the same time, it must not pull across the knuckles, restrict finger movement or become tight when you close your hand around the controls. Fasten the wrist closure securely and check that the glove cannot slide off over the hand.
- Measure both hands and use the larger measurement if they differ.
- Check the size chart on the exact men's or women's product page.
- Try the gloves with your jacket sleeves to make sure the short cuff overlaps comfortably.
- Test lever reach, switch operation and throttle return before riding.
- Touchscreen performance can vary by device, screen protector and fingertip contact.
Protection and intended use
EN 13594 Level 1 confirms that the certified versions have been tested as protective gloves for motorcyclists, but it does not make every Level 1 glove identical. The Hooligan's internal padded knuckle and lightweight textile construction favour flexibility and ventilation. Riders wanting a hard knuckle, longer cuff or more substantial leather coverage can compare other styles in the main glove collection.
Inspect the palm, seams, knuckle area and wrist closure after use. Follow the care instructions supplied with the gloves, and avoid direct heat when drying them. Replace any glove that has been damaged in a fall or has worn through in a protective area.

Customer questions
Are Icon Hooligan gloves suitable for summer?
The standard Hooligan CE uses a vented polyester-mesh backhand and is intended for airflow in warm conditions. The insulated version is designed for cooler weather.
Are Hooligan gloves waterproof?
Icon does not specify a waterproof membrane for these models. The insulated glove adds warmth, but it should not be treated as a waterproof touring glove.
Do all Hooligan colours fit the same?
The regular colour and graphic versions use the same core design. The women's glove has its own sizing, and the insulated chassis may feel different, so check the exact product's size guide.
What does the Level 1 marking mean?
Icon states that the Hooligan CE and Hooligan Insulated are tested to EN 13594:2015 Level 1, the European standard for protective motorcycle gloves. Always confirm the marking on the product received.
