Icon Elsinore 2

Showing 1 - 1 of 1 product
The Icon Elsinore 2 is a tall leather motorcycle boot that combines a vintage motocross look with modern protective construction. This collection brings together the black and brown colourways of the same men's CE-certified design, so the choice is mainly about finish rather than a difference in specification.
Its five-buckle front gives the boot its distinctive appearance, while a side zip makes everyday entry more practical. Under the leather are a reinforced shin plate and D3O ankle inserts. A shifter overlay protects a frequent contact area and the sole is designed to provide durable, flexible grip on and off the motorcycle.

Protection and certification
Icon lists the Elsinore 2 to EN 13634:2017 with a 2 2 2 1 performance marking. This is the European standard used for protective footwear for motorcycle riders. Protection is supported by the tall boot height, internal D3O ankle inserts, reinforced shin area and substantial sole construction.
No motorcycle boot can remove every injury risk, but the Elsinore 2 offers much more coverage than casual footwear. Make sure the ankle protectors sit over the ankle bones, the boot cannot pull off when fastened, and you can still operate the gear lever and rear brake without restriction.
Fit, fastening and comfort
The side zip is the main entry point. The five reinforced nylon buckles then let you adjust the closure through the lower leg and instep. Wear the socks and riding trousers you normally use when checking the fit. There should be room to move your toes, but the heel should not lift excessively and the ankle should feel securely held.
- For a higher-volume calf: open the buckles before using the zip, then adjust each strap progressively rather than forcing the zip closed.
- For riding trousers: check whether the hem sits comfortably inside or outside the tall shaft without bunching behind the knee.
- For controls: confirm that the toe profile works with your gear-lever position before a longer ride.
A high-rebound EVA insole adds underfoot cushioning. The leather will settle with use, but a new boot should not rely on stretching to correct pressure on the toes, ankle protectors or instep. If you are comparing other constructions, browse the wider motorcycle boots collection.
Water resistance and care
After a ride, remove loose dirt with a soft brush and wipe the boots with a damp cloth. Let wet leather dry naturally away from radiators and direct heat, then use a suitable leather-care product according to its instructions. Check the sole, zip, buckles, stitching and protective areas regularly, and stop using the boots if impact or wear has compromised their structure.
Why buy Icon Elsinore 2 boots from Moto Central?
Moto Central lists both current colour choices together, making it easier to compare the same boot without mixing it up with a different Elsinore generation. Product pages show the available sizes and current stock, while the wider Icon collection lets you coordinate the boots with other Icon riding kit. If fit or intended use is unclear, contact the team before riding in the boots so the clean, unworn pair remains suitable for a size check.
Customer questions
Are the black and brown Elsinore 2 boots different?
No material or protection difference is stated by Icon. They are two colour versions of the same Elsinore 2 CE boot.
Are Icon Elsinore 2 boots waterproof?
No waterproof membrane is specified. Icon calls the leather upper water-resistant, so choose a membrane-equipped boot if dependable wet-weather performance is the priority.
Do the five buckles have to be opened every time?
The side zip is designed to make entry easier once the buckles have been adjusted. Open the buckles if needed rather than putting excessive force through the zip.
What should I check when the boots arrive?
Try them indoors with normal riding socks and trousers. Check heel hold, toe room, ankle-protector position, calf closure and movement on the controls before using them outside.
