DMD SeventyFive helmets bring an early off-road-inspired shape to the road, with a projecting chin bar and a broad opening for eye protection. The design asks you to think about the helmet, goggles or visor as one setup. Fit and a usable view should guide the choice before the paintwork does.
DMD's SeventyFive Matt Black specification describes a carbon-Kevlar full-face shell, two shell sizes, a removable washable interior and double D-ring fastening. It identifies ECE 22.05 approval. Check your chosen helmet's label and specification rather than transferring details from the differently named SeventySeven or an ORO edition.
Choose goggles or a compatible SeventyFive visor by checking their fit against the actual opening. With goggles, assess the frame contact around the nose, the strap position and the view at the edges. If using glasses, try them at the same time. A matching appearance does not establish compatibility with a shield made for another DMD model.
DMD confirms that the grille in the SeventyFive chin section is open to allow airflow. Consider that exposure when deciding how the helmet suits your journeys and weather. During a fitting, lean into your usual riding position and check that the aperture and any accessory leave you a comfortable view ahead, particularly on a bike with low handlebars.
Follow DMD's care guidance for the exact helmet, including gentle shell cleaning and drying away from direct heat. Keep the name and size for future liner or visor purchases. The standard removable lining and the leather-trimmed ORO interior should be considered separately when planning care or replacement. Explore the wider DMD range to compare a goggle-based helmet with an integrated-visor design.
Bring your goggles and glasses to Moto Central to assess the eye opening, fit and riding-position view together.
