ByCity The City is a glass-fibre jet helmet for urban and leisure riding, offered in beige shiny, black gloss, matt green and matt black. Its open-face format provides a broad field of view, an integrated sun visor and less facial coverage than a full-face helmet.

ByCity The City Beige Shiny open-face motorcycle helmet — Beige Shiny gives The City's glass-fibre jet shell a light classic finish.

ByCity The City Black Gloss open-face motorcycle helmet — Black Gloss offers a traditional neutral colour with a polished surface.

ByCity The City Matt Green open-face motorcycle helmet — Matt Green is a more distinctive colour around the same open-face helmet format.

The City helmet features

ByCity specifies a glass-fibre shell, multi-density padding, removable and washable interior, micrometric buckle, rear goggle-strap fastening and a movable integrated sun visor. The helmet is approved to ECE/UN R22.06 and supplied with a carrying bag. ByCity gives an approximate weight of 1,200 g, with a 50 g tolerance.

Understanding an open-face helmet

A jet helmet leaves the face and chin exposed. That can suit riders who value airflow and a wide field of view, but it does not offer the same facial coverage as a fixed-chin full-face model. Compare The City with the ByCity Rider or Roadster 3 if you prefer full-face coverage.

Choosing your size and finish

Measure around the widest part of your head and use the size guide as a starting point. The helmet should feel firm and even around the crown without rocking when the micrometric strap is secured. Choose the finish only after confirming the correct size and internal shape.

Eye protection: the integrated sun visor helps with glare, but its coverage differs from a full outer visor. Choose suitable eye protection for the speed, weather and conditions of your ride.
