The Bell Custom 500 is a low-profile open-face motorcycle helmet with a classic three-quarter shape. Moto Central's collection spans current ECE 22.06 solids, flakes, graphics and carbon versions, alongside a small number of earlier ECE 22.05 helmets, so there is a useful choice without hiding the generation differences.
The current Custom 500 uses a fibreglass-composite shell, a quilted interior and an integrated five-snap pattern for compatible peaks and shields. Bell lists five shell sizes for the current model, helping the external profile stay more proportionate across the size range.
The open eye port and exposed chin suit riders who prioritise airflow, visibility and a traditional appearance. It provides less facial coverage than a full-face helmet, so choose the format with that trade-off in mind.
Solid black and white options are easy to pair with most bikes, while flake finishes and collaborations give the same helmet a more individual custom or heritage look.
Measure around the widest part of your head and use the size chart on the individual product as a starting point. The helmet should grip evenly around the crown without a sharp pressure point, and it should remain stable when the retention system is secured.
The five-snap arrangement supports compatible accessories, but a peak or shield is not a substitute for checking eye protection, fitment and road suitability. Confirm exactly what is supplied with the colourway you select.
Check the product generation: most current listings are marked ECE 22.06, but the collection also contains earlier ECE 22.05 helmets. Read the full product title and inspect the approval label on the helmet you receive.
Moto Central brings the live solid, graphic, flake and carbon choices together with clear product images and model-specific sizing. You can compare them with other open-face motorcycle helmets, read our helmet sizing guide, or visit our Leicestershire showroom for personal fitting help.
Supplied accessories vary by product. Check the individual listing and use only a peak or shield identified as compatible with the Custom 500.
No. Most current products are marked ECE 22.06, but a small number of earlier ECE 22.05 helmets remain in this collection.
