Icon clothing combines distinctive graphics and streetwear influences with motorcycle jackets, trousers and separate protection. The range extends beyond any one fabric or look, including leather, canvas, mesh and denim designs. Choose by the riding conditions and the protection you need, then compare the cut and appearance within that brief.
A mesh jacket, a leather design and a canvas-style garment can feel very different in use. Icon’s jacket families illustrate these different approaches, from Mesh AF and Upstate Canvas to leather Overlord designs. Compare ventilation, weather claims and the garment’s protective specification individually. A bold graphic, familiar family name or similar cut does not establish an identical material, approval or set of included protectors across generations.
Icon’s Field Armor category includes vests, compression shirts and trousers, sleeves, and knee and elbow protection. These pieces cover different areas and are intended to be worn in particular combinations. Read the instructions and protective coverage for the exact item. Do not assume that a protector or compression layer provides all the functions of a complete riding jacket or trousers, or that an optional insert will fit every garment pocket.
Try your chosen jacket and trousers with the layers and protectors you plan to use. Reach forward and bend your knees to check sleeve length, waistband coverage and armour position. Consider women’s cuts separately rather than relying on a direct size conversion. Check closures and any jacket-to-trouser connection for the exact pairing. When maintaining the outfit, follow the instructions for the individual fabric and remove armour only as directed.
