Short finger motorcycle gloves are full-finger protective gloves offered with shorter finger proportions. They are not fingerless or half-finger gloves. This Moto Central filter currently brings together selected Held touring, adventure, summer, winter and sports models that include a short-fit option within their size range.
The same glove family may also appear in regular- and long-finger filters because one product page can contain several proportion choices. Check the exact variant before ordering, as the first visible size on a product card may not be the short option.

What short finger sizing means
Short sizing is intended for riders whose palm measurement points to one glove size but whose fingers do not fill the standard finger length. The palm, protectors and wrist still need to fit correctly. Choosing a smaller regular glove only to reduce fingertip space can make the palm too tight and place the knuckle protection incorrectly.
Short finger length is separate from cuff length. A glove can combine shorter finger proportions with a short road cuff or a long touring gauntlet. It is also separate from season, waterproofing and protection, so compare those features on the individual model.
Check fingertip space
Your fingertips should sit close to the ends without being crushed. Too much empty material can fold against the controls and reduce precision.
Check the palm
Close your hand around a grip. The palm should not bunch into a ridge, and the glove should not pull tightly across the base of the fingers.
Check protector position
Knuckle and finger protection must align with your hand. Shorter fingers alone do not compensate for the wrong palm size.
Check retention
Fasten the wrist and cuff, then make sure the glove cannot be pulled off easily and does not interfere with your jacket sleeve.
Choosing a model within this filter
Once the short fit is established, choose the glove for the ride. Air n Dry II, Score 4.0, Madoc and Tonale listings are weather-focused in different ways; Sambia and Air Stream products address warmer adventure or road use; Phantom and Evo-Thrux models are sports-oriented. These names do not make their features universal.
Read the live product page for the membrane, insulation, materials, protector construction and EN 13594 information of the exact model. A Gore-Tex touring glove and a ventilated leather glove solve different problems even when both are available with shorter fingers.
Variant check: this is a product-level smart collection. Open the chosen product and confirm that your required short-finger variant is listed and available before ordering.
Why buy short finger motorcycle gloves from Moto Central?
Moto Central can help separate palm size, finger length and cuff choice instead of treating them as one measurement. In the Wolvey showroom you can compare Held proportions with the jacket and controls in mind. Online, our team can help identify the correct variant from the current product page before you order.
Short finger motorcycle glove questions
Are these fingerless gloves?
No. These are full-finger motorcycle gloves offered with shorter finger proportions. Fingerless products have a separate collection.
Is short finger the same as short cuff?
No. Finger length describes hand fit, while cuff length describes wrist and sleeve coverage.
Should I just buy a smaller regular size?
Usually not. A smaller palm can become restrictive and move the protectors out of position. Use the correct palm size with the suitable finger proportion.
Why do products also appear in regular and long filters?
One product page may offer several proportion variants. Confirm the exact size and finger-length option on that product before ordering.
