Find grey motorcycle helmets, clothing and accessories with a neutral look that works across commuting, touring and leisure riding. From pale grey to charcoal and anthracite, compare the shade and finish alongside the features that make the equipment right for you.

Grey is more than one finish
Light grey, dark grey, silver-grey and anthracite are useful starting points, but the manufacturer's full colour name gives a better idea of the intended appearance. A metallic surface, flat paint and woven fabric will reflect light differently. If you want a coordinated outfit, compare textures and the balance of contrasting panels as well as the headline colour.
Helmet style comes before colour
A grey open-face helmet, full-face helmet and flip-front helmet offer different formats. Choose the format and fit for your use, then compare finishes. Shoei's Neotec 3 in Matt Deep Grey is an example of a flip-front option; its mechanism and equipment belong to that model, not to grey helmets as a group.
Assess clothing by its construction
For grey jackets and trousers, compare abrasion-protection specifications, the armour supplied, weather layers and ventilation. Try the garment in a riding position with the boots and gloves you use. A pale panel does not make a textile waterproof, and a dark panel does not identify leather or reinforced material: consult the fabric description and care label.
Care for matt and mixed surfaces
Check the manufacturer's instructions before applying polish or a cleaning product. Shoei specifically advises against polishes and waxes on its helmet finishes, including matt surfaces. Clothing and luggage need their own care routine. When ordering a replacement grey part, match the model, part code and finish rather than assuming a similarly coloured component will fit.
