Replacement goggle lenses let you renew damaged optics or adapt compatible goggles to different light conditions. Start with the exact frame model, then compare the lens tint, visible light transmission and any tear-off or roll-off requirements. A similar shape or familiar brand name is not enough to establish that a lens will fit securely.

Match the frame before choosing the tint
Check the complete goggle name, including generation and adult or junior version. Look for the manufacturer's compatibility list and match any lens code where one is supplied. Frames with related names can have different retention tabs, curvature or locking systems.
As a specific example, SCOTT lists its Prospect/Fury Single WORKS lens for the Prospect and Fury families, with pins for its compatible tear-off and WFS roll-off systems. Oakley gives a different named fit list for its O-Frame MX replacement lens. Neither example establishes compatibility with every goggle from that manufacturer.
Choose how much light reaches your eyes
Clear and lighter lenses
Check the visible light transmission, often shortened to VLT, for dull conditions and changing light. A higher percentage lets more visible light through. Use the maker's intended conditions as well as the colour name when comparing lenses.
Tinted and mirrored lenses
These can be intended for brighter conditions, but the outside colour does not tell you the exact transmission. Check the specification for the individual tint. A dark lens should not be assumed suitable for night riding or poor visibility.
Check the complete lens system
Single and double lenses, anti-fog treatments and light-sensitive options have different specifications. Select what is supported by your frame and riding conditions. If you use tear-offs or roll-offs, confirm the lens, posts, film and canister system are compatible rather than assuming any accessories can be combined.
Follow the fitting instructions for your goggle. Check that the lens is fully seated and every retaining point or lock is engaged before riding. Do not force a lens into an unsupported frame or modify tabs to make it fit.
Protect the replacement lens
Follow the maker's cleaning instructions, particularly for the inner anti-fog surface. SCOTT and Oakley both warn against rubbing the inside while wet. Avoid cleaning chemicals or treatments that the manufacturer has not approved, and store the goggles dry in a suitable bag or case.
Inspect scratches, impact damage and the frame itself before replacing only the lens. Browse goggle spare parts for compatible system components, or compare complete goggles if the frame or fit also needs attention.
Bring the goggles you need to match
The full model name and the existing goggles help identify the right replacement. Contact Moto Central or visit our Wolvey showroom with the frame so the compatibility details can be checked.
