Showing 1 - 1 of 1 product
Shop motorcycle chest protectors for road, track and off-road riding. The collection includes one-piece and divided inserts, protectors designed for specific jackets or suits, vest-style systems and larger off-road guards that can combine chest, back and shoulder coverage.
Chest protection is not universal. The correct option must match the garment or attachment system, suit the rider's size and remain in the intended position when seated on the motorcycle.

Types of motorcycle chest protection
One-piece inserts
A single central protector, often secured inside a compatible jacket or suit using a pocket or hook-and-loop system.
Divided inserts
Separate left and right sections intended for garments with matching chest pockets. Check whether the listing is a pair.
Protector vests
Wearable systems that support the protection independently. Some combine chest and back coverage, while others form part of an airbag setup.
Off-road guards
Hard-shell or hybrid products for motocross and trail use. Coverage and certification vary by model, including youth-specific sizing.
Understanding certification
Where stated, motorcycle chest protectors can be assessed to EN 1621-3 and marked Level 1 or Level 2. That marking applies to the chest protector tested. A combined guard may show different standards or levels for its back, shoulder or elbow sections, so read the full product specification rather than applying one rating to the whole assembly.
Do not confuse a protector's Level 1 or Level 2 impact rating with the A, AA or AAA classification of an EN 17092 motorcycle garment. They describe different tests.
Compatibility and fit
Confirm the exact jacket, suit or vest compatibility, the attachment method and the size. A generic outline is not enough: one-piece and divided pockets differ, and some inserts are made for a particular manufacturer or garment family.
Once fitted, the protector should cover the intended area and remain stable in the riding position without restricting breathing, arm movement or control of the motorcycle. Follow the manufacturer's inspection and replacement guidance after an impact or if the protector is damaged.
Check what is included: some listings are a single insert, some are a pair, and some are complete wearable systems. Back, shoulder or elbow protection may be separate even when shown in supporting imagery.

Chest protector questions
Will any chest insert fit my jacket?
No. Match the protector to the jacket's pocket or attachment system and use the compatibility information on the exact product page.
Is Level 2 always supplied?
No. Protection level varies, and some products contain several sections with different ratings. Check the stated certification for each area.
What is the difference between an insert and a vest?
An insert relies on a compatible garment to hold it. A vest has its own supporting structure and may combine more than one protective area.
Are youth protectors simply smaller adult models?
Not necessarily. Use the manufacturer's youth size guidance and confirm the intended age or body measurements rather than scaling down by eye.
