TCX Boots

TCX motorcycle boots for road, touring and urban riding

TCX makes footwear for several distinct riding environments, and this broad collection reflects that variety. Alongside trainer-style motorcycle shoes and heritage leather boots, there are waterproof touring designs, ventilated options, full-height sports boots and women-specific models. The right choice depends on where you ride, how much walking you do and how the boot works with your controls and trousers.

Technology names are model-specific. A TCX boot may use a T-Dry or GORE-TEX membrane, a ventilated upper, a specialised closure or a sports protection system, but those features do not apply across every product on this page. Check the exact listing whenever several colourways or similarly named versions appear.

Finding your type of TCX boot

• Urban and heritage: Hero 2 WP, Fuel WP, Dartwood WP and trainer-style models are shaped for riders who want easier walking and a less technical appearance. WP identifies a waterproof version, not a range-wide guarantee.
• Touring: Climatrek Surround GTX, Airtech 3 GTX and other taller waterproof designs suit riders prioritising weather coverage and long days. Compare them with the wider motorcycle touring boots selection.
• Sports: RT-Race and related full-height boots are designed around secure closures, control feel and additional lower-leg structure. Browse the dedicated sports and road boots collection for comparable options.
• Women-specific: some TCX products use a women-specific fit and are mixed into this automatic brand page. The ladies motorcycle boots collection narrows the search.

Fit the boot to your motorcycle

Check fit while wearing your usual riding socks. The heel should stay seated, the instep should feel secure and your toes should have enough room when your foot is angled on the peg. With lace-up boots, tie and secure the laces exactly as the product instructions require so loose ends cannot reach the chain, rear wheel or controls. Zips, straps and hook-and-loop closures should fasten without straining.

Sit on the motorcycle before committing to a style. Confirm that the toe box clears the gear lever, the sole does not feel vague on the peg and a taller shaft does not interfere with the calf, knee or bodywork. Also check whether your riding trousers are intended to sit over or inside the boot. A bulky touring trouser can need more calf adjustment than riding jeans.

Understanding protection and weather claims

EN 13634 is the motorcycle-footwear standard to look for on the label or product documentation. Its basic marking can show tested levels for upper height, abrasion resistance, impact cut resistance and transverse rigidity, while optional performance tests are marked separately. Certification and optional results belong to the individual boot, so compare the precise model rather than assuming that all TCX footwear shares one level.

For wet-weather use, start with the waterproof motorcycle boots or GORE-TEX motorcycle boots pages. Remember that a membrane helps manage water entry through the boot, but trouser overlap, closure position and water coming in at the top still affect real-world comfort.

Why shop TCX boots at Moto Central?

Moto Central brings TCX’s urban, heritage, touring and sports footwear together with clear model and colour listings. That makes it easier to compare a short waterproof boot with a ventilated shoe or a full-height road boot without treating them as interchangeable. You can also return to the full motorcycle boots catalogue when another brand or construction may suit your foot shape better.

Care after the ride

Brush away dry dirt and follow the care label for the relevant leather, suede, microfibre or textile upper. Do not apply leather conditioner to fabric panels or membrane-specific materials unless the maker’s instructions allow it. Dry wet footwear slowly at room temperature, keep zips and fastening tracks clean, and inspect the sole, seams, shift pad and closures before the next ride.
