Spidi motorcycle clothing spans sport, touring and everyday riding, with leather and textile options designed around different journeys. The right choice is not simply the sportiest-looking garment: think about your riding position, the weather you expect and how much time you spend off the bike. Use the specification of each item to compare protection, fit and layering.

Start with the type of riding
For a leather jacket or suit, assess movement with your arms extended and your knees bent, rather than judging comfort only while standing. Touring clothing calls for a different balance of coverage, weather protection and usable pockets. Spidi also makes ventilated summer garments, so a lightweight-looking textile item should not automatically be treated as waterproof winter equipment.
What H2Out tells you
H2Out is Spidi's waterproof, windproof and breathable technology. The way it is incorporated varies between garments. Check whether the weather layer is fixed or removable, what thermal lining is supplied and which vents remain usable in that configuration. The H2Out name alone does not describe the whole layering arrangement.
Understand Step-In Wear compatibility
Spidi's Step-In Wear system allows compatible shells and linings to be combined for different conditions. Before adding a liner, check that the exact jacket supports it, that the attachment system matches and that the combination leaves enough room to move. A removable lining is not evidence that every Spidi liner will fit.
Make protection and fit part of the comparison
Read the complete garment certification and the separate details for included shoulder, elbow, knee or hip protectors. Check whether back protection is supplied or requires an additional insert. For gloves, close the retention fastening and try a relaxed grip, checking finger length and pressure across the knuckles.
If you are choosing between clothing types, explore one-piece motorcycle suits, motorcycle jackets and riding gloves. Compare the intended use of the actual product rather than assuming every item from a performance brand has the same construction or weather features.
Choose around your riding position
Our showroom team can help you assess reach, movement and armour position. Bring your boots or existing riding trousers when matching a new garment to your kit.
