Racer 1927 motorcycle gloves offer different approaches to warm-weather riding, wet journeys and winter comfort. Choose for the conditions you expect and the feel you need at the controls, then compare cuff length, fastening, protective details and fit across the individual designs.

Racer (France) Tuxedo Summer Leather Gloves Tan — Tuxedo: a summer leather glove example

Racer (France) Command Gore-Tex Gloves Coyote Sand — Command: a Gore-Tex glove family

Racer (France) Gridder 2 Gore-Tex Gloves Black — Gridder 2: another touring glove option

Balance warmth with control feel

A ventilated summer glove and an insulated winter glove will feel different around a grip. For warm days, compare airflow and flexibility; for colder journeys, consider the lining and how the cuff meets your jacket sleeve. Check that the fingers can curl naturally without pressure at the tips or loose material gathering across the palm.

Racer’s motorcycle range includes Gore-Tex designs such as Command, as well as gloves with other constructions. Read the weather specification for the exact version. Waterproofing and insulation are separate considerations, and a membrane name does not tell you how warm or bulky a glove will feel.

Choosing heated gloves

Racer makes heated equipment for several activities, so confirm that the chosen glove is intended for motorcycling. Heat5 is one motorcycle example. Compare the control arrangement, supplied batteries and charging equipment, and the manufacturer’s stated operating conditions. A quoted maximum runtime is not a promise at every heat setting.

Check the wrist and cuff

Fasten the glove fully and assess whether it stays securely on the hand. Try the cuff with your jacket rather than viewing it in isolation. Bulk from a lining or battery should not prevent a comfortable riding position or make the fastening difficult to use.

Use the correct size and power accessories

Follow the relevant men’s or ladies’ size guide and compare both hands. When choosing a replacement battery, charger or connection lead, use the exact product reference and manufacturer compatibility information. Shared branding or a similar plug is insufficient. Browse motorcycle gloves and heated riding clothing for related options.
