One Design tank pads, grips and motorcycle graphics let you address contact points on the bike while choosing a finish that suits it. Start by separating central tank protection from the grip areas used by your knees. Shape, placement and surface compatibility matter more than choosing a design from its photograph alone.

Protection and grip have different jobs
A central tank pad is positioned where clothing can contact the rear of the tank. Side grips address a different area, where the rider’s legs meet the motorcycle. One Design’s HDR range uses a textured hexagonal design for grip, while its wider catalogue includes decorative tank pads, cap and rim graphics and other protection pieces. Decide which contact area needs attention before selecting a product.
Check the outline against your motorcycle
Model-specific panels and universal shapes require different checks. Confirm the motorcycle model and relevant year for a dedicated kit. For a universal pad, compare its measurements with the available surface and check where your clothing or knees actually touch. A familiar model name or similar-looking tank is not enough to establish that a kit will fit.
Plan placement before applying
Follow the supplied surface preparation and application instructions. Offer the pieces up before removing adhesive backing, check symmetry and avoid bridging awkward curves or edges. Keep the area clean afterwards and follow the product’s care guidance. The gallery shows different approaches to tank contact, not a promise that every illustrated kit fits the same bike.
