Monimoto motorcycle trackers provide movement alerts and location information without being wired into the bike. The current Moto Central collection contains Monimoto 7 and Monimoto 9, two discreet trackers that use a paired key fob and the Monimoto mobile app but take different approaches to battery power and packaging.
When the tracker detects movement without its paired fob nearby, it alerts the registered phone and begins providing location information through the app. It is a tracking and notification layer rather than a physical immobiliser, so it should be used alongside suitable locks and normal parking precautions.

Monimoto 7 or Monimoto 9?
Monimoto 7
Monimoto 7 uses replaceable lithium AA batteries and has the longer published operating period. It is the larger of the two current trackers and supports GPS location with cellular communication through its integrated eSIM.
Monimoto 9
Monimoto 9 is smaller and lighter, uses a rechargeable battery and charges by USB-C. It also supports Wi-Fi-assisted location when satellite reception is limited, alongside GPS and cellular connectivity.
What to check before choosing
- Concealment space: identify a secure position that does not surround the tracker with excessive metal or expose it to avoidable heat and damage.
- Battery preference: choose between the longer replaceable-battery approach of Monimoto 7 and the smaller rechargeable Monimoto 9.
- Mobile coverage: cellular alerts and location reporting depend on compatible network coverage in the area where the motorcycle is used.
- Ongoing connectivity: the integrated eSIM includes an initial service period, after which a Monimoto subscription is required. Check current terms before purchase.
- Testing: pair the tracker, fob and app, then test alerts and location reporting before relying on the system.
Buying Monimoto from Moto Central
Moto Central stocks both current Monimoto models, making it possible to compare their power source, size, weather protection and supplied components directly. The detailed product pages separate confirmed features from general tracker guidance, and our team can help you decide which format is easier to conceal on your motorcycle.
Compare these models with the wider motorcycle tracker collection, or add physical protection from the motorcycle locks and chains range.
Customer questions
Does Monimoto need wiring into the motorcycle?
No. Both current models use their own batteries, so they do not need a connection to the vehicle battery.
Will the tracker arm automatically?
The paired key fob is used for automatic arming and disarming. Keep it with you and away from the parked motorcycle.
Does Monimoto prevent theft?
No tracker can prevent theft or guarantee recovery. Monimoto provides movement alerts and location information and is best used as one layer of a wider security setup.
