Longride motorcycle luggage combines heritage styling with practical carrying choices for modern classics, cruisers and custom motorcycles. Moto Central’s range includes waxed-canvas saddlebags, Iparex designs, leather tool rolls, roll bags, backpacks, swing-arm bags and the supports or quick-release parts used to mount selected products.
The key decision is not simply colour or capacity. Choose the mounting system first, then check the exact motorcycle, side of fitment, bag dimensions and clearance around the exhaust, suspension and rear wheel.

Understand the Longride mounting choices
Quick release and ClickFix
Selected Longride saddlebags use a quick-release claw with a compatible motorcycle support. Longride states that its Sidekick claw requires a Longride holder or another compatible bracket. Check whether the bag already includes the required component and whether the matching support is sold separately.
Multifit and strap-mounted bags
Multifit saddlebags and roll bags use a different attachment approach. Confirm strap routing, support requirements and whether a pair is joined across or beneath the seat. Universal or adaptable parts still depend on safe anchor points and suitable dimensions.
Swing-arm and tool bags
Compact swing-arm bags and tool rolls suit smaller loads. A left-side designation matters, and capacity must not tempt the rider to overload a small fixing area. Check clearance throughout suspension movement and keep every part away from the drive system and exhaust.
Backpacks and removable luggage
Longride backpacks and bags that convert for off-bike carrying should be chosen by usable capacity and comfort as well as appearance. Remove or secure mounting straps before walking, and confirm that carrying hardware cannot flap or contact the motorcycle while riding.
Start with the exact motorcycle and support
Longride’s model-specific saddlebag holders use the mounting points available on particular motorcycles. Similar model names or different production years do not guarantee the same spacing. Match the make, model and year, read the fitting instructions and use the specified torque values. Seek workshop help if indicators, footrests or suspension fasteners must be moved.
Waxed canvas, leather and Iparex
Longride’s official waxed-canvas range combines water-repellent waxed cotton with leather trim, while selected products use full leather or Iparex construction. These materials do not share one cleaning method or weather claim. Follow the care information for the exact bag, and test any cleaner or dressing on an inconspicuous area.
Waxed canvas can develop creases and marks through normal use. Brush away dry dirt gently and use only a suitable reproofing product when the manufacturer recommends it. Leather needs occasional material-appropriate care and should not be soaked or dried against direct heat. Do not apply leather conditioner to Iparex or waxed textile panels unless the instructions specifically permit it.
Capacity and safe loading
Current Longride listings range from small tool and swing-arm bags to larger paired saddlebags and roll bags. Check whether a stated capacity is per bag or for a pair. Keep dense items low, divide weight evenly between sides and stay within the limit of the bag, quick-release system, support and motorcycle.
After installation, compress the suspension, check tyre and chain or belt clearance, and make sure lights and indicators remain visible. Sit on the motorcycle with any passenger who will travel, then confirm that neither person contacts the bags. Recheck mounts and straps after the first ride and during longer journeys.

Customer questions
Does a quick-release saddlebag include the bike support?
Not necessarily. Check the included-parts list and identify the correct Longride or compatible holder for the exact motorcycle.
Can I fit Longride saddlebags without supports?
Some combinations may allow it, but only where the instructions and clearances permit. A support is important whenever it prevents the bag reaching hot or moving parts.
Are waxed-canvas bags fully waterproof?
Longride describes the waxed cotton as water-repellent. Use the exact product guidance and protect sensitive contents with an additional dry bag when needed.
Is the listed capacity for one bag or a pair?
It varies. Read the title and specification carefully, especially when comparing single saddlebags with paired sets.
