Kriega motorcycle luggage offers different ways to carry the essentials, from a backpack for the commute to modular tail packs and adventure panniers. Begin with what you need to carry and where you want the load to sit, then compare access, weather protection and the mounting arrangement.

Kriega R20 Backpack Black - 20 Liters — R20: a rider-worn backpack example.

Kriega US20 Drypack Black - 20 Liters — US-20: an example from the modular Drypack family.

Kriega OS 32 Soft Pannier Black - 32 Liters — OS-32: a soft pannier example from the adventure luggage range.

Carry it on your back or on the bike?

A backpack is convenient when you regularly leave the motorcycle and take your belongings with you. Try the harness over your normal riding jacket and check the fit in a riding position. The Kriega R20, for example, uses a QUADLOC-lite harness to distribute load towards the chest and body, with an inner sleeve that can accommodate optional accessories.

Bike-mounted luggage keeps the load off your shoulders and can be a practical choice for longer trips. Kriega’s US-Drypack system uses straps and attachment loops for mounting to the motorcycle. The US-20 illustrates the approach with a roll-top waterproof main compartment and the option to combine it with other compatible Drypacks.

Waterproof where it matters

Check the specification of each compartment rather than treating every Kriega bag and pocket alike. A waterproof main compartment does not automatically make an external pocket suitable for electronics. Roll-top bags also need enough space left at the opening to close them exactly as instructed.

Adventure mounting systems

The OS range includes rackless luggage arrangements as well as soft pannier solutions. An OS-BASE is a harness used with compatible packs, rather than a complete set of bags. Select the appropriate harness or mounting hardware for the bike and the intended luggage configuration.

Choose useful space, not just litres

Consider the shape of your items and how often you need to reach them. A tool roll, hydration reservoir and overnight clothing have different packing needs. Check whether optional pockets, straps, converters or reservoirs are included before comparing the cost of a complete setup.

With bike-mounted bags, confirm clearance from the exhaust and moving parts and follow the luggage and motorcycle load guidance. Compare motorcycle backpacks for daily carrying, hydration packs for drinking on the move, or the wider motorcycle luggage collection for touring options.

Plan your Kriega carrying system

Tell us what you normally carry and whether it needs to stay on the bike or come with you. Bring your riding jacket for backpack fit comparisons and your motorcycle details for luggage mounting checks.
