Daytona Corporation motorcycle accessories help riders adapt their bike for everyday travel, from warmer hands on a cold commute to a practical power supply for navigation. Its wider accessory range also includes instruments, mirrors and lighting. Start with the job you want the accessory to do, then check the motorcycle's dimensions and electrical requirements before choosing a part.
Choosing heated grips
Daytona offers heated grips for different handlebar diameters, including 22.2mm and 25.4mm applications. Grip length, throttle arrangement and open or closed ends matter as well as the nominal bar size. Consider bar-end weights and handguards when checking the installation space.
Control design varies between kits. For example, Daytona's 88640 grips combine an integrated switch with four heat settings and require a 12V DC supply. That specification belongs to that kit, so compare the exact reference rather than assuming every Daytona grip uses the same controls or wiring.
Power for the journey
A USB socket needs to match both the device and its charging cable. Compare USB-A or USB-C connections, output and mounting space. Daytona's 80400 slim USB-C supply supports USB Power Delivery up to 18W, illustrating why connector shape alone does not tell you the charging capability.
Plan the installation around the bike's electrical capacity and the accessory instructions. Cables must allow free steering and throttle movement without becoming trapped or stretched. Check how the supply is switched and protected; a compact housing does not make an accessory a universal fit.
When replacing a switch or adding a spacer, match the original kit reference and required dimensions. A spare controller is not a complete heated-grip kit. If you are comparing solutions across brands, explore motorcycle heated grips and phone cases and mounts; device support and device power are separate parts of the setup.
