The current Arctiva collection at Moto Central is a focused selection of cold-weather base layers, balaclavas, neck warmers, glove liners, socks and snow boots. It does not presently contain the jackets and bibs often associated with the wider Arctiva snowmobile range.
Most items are designed to add warmth or manage moisture beneath other riding equipment. They should be chosen as part of a layering system and are not substitutes for certified motorcycle impact protection or an appropriate weatherproof outer layer.
Build the right cold-weather layer system
Next-to-skin layers
Choose close-fitting tops, trousers and glove liners that sit smoothly beneath the next layer. Excess fabric can bunch, reduce dexterity or create pressure points during a long ride.
Balaclavas and neck coverage
Check helmet fit after adding a balaclava. A thick layer must not make the helmet uncomfortably tight, interfere with the chin strap or obstruct vision and ventilation.
Adult, ladies and junior products
The live range includes different age and fit groups. Read the complete product title and size selection rather than assuming similar-looking liners or balaclavas use the same sizing.
Snow-specific boots
Advance boots are snow footwear rather than conventional road-motorcycle boots. Select them for the environment described and do not assume they provide the same impact or abrasion specification as certified motorcycle boots.
