Bering motorcycle gloves cover warm-weather rides, wet commutes and colder journeys, with textile, leather and mixed-material designs for different priorities. Choose by the conditions you ride in, then compare palm feel, insulation and cuff fit. A glove should work comfortably with your controls and jacket, as well as offering the protection specified for that individual model.

Bering Breeze Textile Gloves Black / Red — Bering Breeze: a mesh-panel summer design, shown in black and red.

Bering Halifax Leather Gloves Black — Bering Halifax: a longer-cuff design to compare with your jacket sleeve.

Bering Slammer Gore-Tex Gloves Black — Bering Slammer GORE-TEX: a mid-season waterproof design with a medium cuff.

Choose the weather protection you need

For summer riding, look for ventilation and a flexible feel rather than assuming a heavier glove is more suitable. Bering’s Breeze illustrates this approach with a textile construction that includes 3D mesh. A ventilated summer glove and a waterproof touring glove serve different purposes, so check the weather specification before choosing one pair for every journey.

For changeable conditions, compare the membrane and lining separately. Slammer GORE-TEX is a mid-season example with a waterproof, breathable membrane and a blend of textile and goatskin leather. Waterproofing alone does not tell you how warm a glove will feel. For colder riding, look at the thermal lining, coverage around the wrist and how easily you can move your fingers when gripping the bars.

Heated gloves are also part of Bering’s wider range. Breva combines the B-Warm heating system with a waterproof membrane and thermal lining. If considering a heated model, check its power arrangement, supplied equipment and operating instructions, then assess fit with the heating equipment in place. These examples explain different designs within the brand; specifications and availability should be checked on the individual product.

Palm feel, protection and everyday controls

A leather label does not mean every part of a glove is leather, and a textile glove may use leather in selected areas. Look at the palm and fingers as well as the back of the hand. The combination affects flexibility, grip and the amount of material between your hand and the controls.

Compare the stated knuckle protection, palm reinforcement and wrist fastening for each model. Check the glove’s own approval information rather than transferring a rating from another Bering design. Features such as touchscreen operation or a visor wipe can be useful on a commute, but their presence also varies by model.

Check size with your hands in a riding position

Use the size guide supplied for the chosen glove and follow its measurement method. Bering offers men’s and women’s gloves, so compare the relevant fit options rather than choosing solely by colour or assuming the same marked size will feel identical across styles.

Fasten both gloves, curl your fingers around a grip and check that the fingertips are not pressed hard against the ends. The palm should not gather into an uncomfortable fold, and you should be able to reach and operate the levers without fighting the glove. Allow time to notice pressure over the knuckles and around the thumb. Extra lining or an additional inner glove can change the fit, so try the combination you intend to wear.

Match the cuff to your jacket

Try the gloves with your riding jacket fastened. A longer cuff adds coverage but needs enough adjustment to sit comfortably with the sleeve; a shorter or medium cuff needs a careful overlap check. Move your arms into your normal riding position and make sure the layers do not bunch up or leave an exposed gap. Follow the clothing and glove instructions for arranging the overlap in wet weather.
