Gore-Tex overall
The Lakefield is a one-piece product rather than two separate garments. Try the full riding posture, including reach to the bars and bend at the hips and knees.

Protection, weather and fit
Do not assume every textile product shares one membrane or safety class. Read the exact listing for certification, armour positions, waterproof construction and thermal layers. A casual T-shirt or body warmer provides no substitute for certified riding kit.
Try jackets and trousers together where possible. Check wrist and boot overlap, seated back coverage and whether the armour remains centred when your elbows and knees are bent.
