Axor visors are model-specific replacement face shields, with clear, tinted and mirrored options serving different viewing conditions. Start with the helmet family and visor mounting system, then consider the finish and any anti-fog insert requirements. Similar-looking shields should never be treated as interchangeable.
Axor lists separate visor applications across families such as Apex, Brutale, Saber and Kylo. Check the full name on your helmet and compare it with the replacement listing. A visor’s curvature, pivot interface and closing edge all matter, so choosing a finish from a different family is not a shortcut to the right fit. Retain any identifying code from the old shield when asking for help.
Axor’s spares catalogue distinguishes outer visors, inner visors, anti-fog lenses, spoilers and peaks. An internal sun visor does not replace the outer shield, and a spoiler is not part of the viewing surface. If the visor will not hold its position or close properly, inspect the mounting mechanism as well as the shield before deciding which component needs attention.
Clear, smoke and mirrored finishes are alternatives rather than upgrades in every condition. Read the visor’s markings and usage instructions, particularly for reduced light. Pinlock-ready indicates provision for a compatible insert; check whether that insert is supplied and which reference it requires. Do not assume every Axor shield, or every colour of one shield, has identical anti-fog provision.
Follow Axor’s care and fitting instructions for the selected visor. Let dirt soften before cleaning, use products suitable for its coating and avoid force at the pivots. Once installed, check opening, retention and closure while stationary. Replace a shield whose scratches or damage interfere with your view, and keep the old part available until the replacement’s application has been confirmed.
Bring your helmet and the old part, or clear photographs of its label and fittings, to our showroom. We can help identify the component and check the model details before you choose.
