Garibaldi Smoke Vintage
1 product
Showing 1 - 1 of 1 product
The Garibaldi Smoke Vintage gloves combine a classic black leather appearance with the airflow and secure fit needed for warm-weather motorcycle riding. This collection contains the Smoke Vintage leather glove, made from two types of goat leather with perforation across much of the back.
It is a summer glove rather than an insulated or waterproof design. Riders choosing it should prioritise correct hand fit, wrist retention and the balance between ventilation, dexterity and protective construction.
Smoke Vintage materials and protection
Two goat-leather constructions
Garibaldi uses Goat DD leather on the back and Goat Nappa leather on the palm. The aim is a soft, flexible feel without losing the structure expected from a motorcycle glove.
Knuckle and finger protection
A polyurethane protector covers the knuckles, with softer EVA padding positioned across the fingers. Garibaldi states CE EN 13594:2015 approval for the model.
Summer ventilation
Perforated leather covers the protective areas and much of the back of the hand. That makes the Smoke Vintage better suited to warm conditions than the insulated Urbe KP Vintage.
Comfort at the controls
Pre-curved fingers, nubuck leather accordion inserts and Garibaldi's wrinkle-free Bmb Fit lining are designed to support movement and reduce material bunching inside the glove.
Weather limitation: Garibaldi classifies the Smoke Vintage as a summer glove and does not specify a waterproof membrane. Perforation improves airflow but also means it is not the natural choice for sustained wet or cold riding.
Wrist fit and retention
The Smoke Vintage uses a strap intended to resist the glove being pulled off, plus a separate closure for a close fit around the wrist. Fasten both before assessing size. The glove should stay secure when gently pulled, without the strap restricting movement or pressing uncomfortably into the wrist.
The short cuff works naturally with retro, urban and cruiser clothing, but it still needs to overlap or meet your jacket sleeve in a way that does not leave an unwanted gap when your arms are extended on the bike.
How to choose your Smoke Vintage size
Check three measurements
Use hand length, palm width and circumference against the size table on the product page. If your measurements sit across different sizes, finger length and control movement deserve particular attention.
Allow a close leather fit
The leather can soften with use, but the new glove should never cause numbness, restrict finger movement or pull tightly across the knuckle protector.
Look for fingertip control
Your fingertips should reach the ends without being compressed. Too much spare length can fold at the levers and reduce feel.
Recreate your riding position
Close your hand around a handlebar-sized grip and operate imaginary levers. Check for bunching at the palm and tension across the back before deciding.

Smoke Vintage glove questions

What leather does it use?

Garibaldi lists touchscreen capability for the Smoke Vintage. Device response can vary, so test the glove with your own screen if this feature is important.
Can Moto Central help with fit?
Yes. Use the online measurements or visit our showroom for help checking fingertip length, palm tension, wrist retention and movement at the controls.
