LS2 body armour at Moto Central currently consists of six focused products: chest, hip and back inserts plus the Koku kidney belt. It does not contain the LS2 X-Armor protection jacket described by the old page. The useful starting point is therefore the protector pocket or support requirement in your existing kit.
Chest, hip and back protectors rely on the garment pocket to keep them correctly positioned. Confirm the LS2 product code, pocket shape, dimensions and any listed jacket or trouser compatibility. Men's and ladies' chest products are separate listings, while the back protector uses size and rider-height information. Do not choose solely from the colour or body area in the title.
Install each protector in the orientation shown by LS2, close the pocket securely and try the complete garment on the motorcycle. A protector that is folded, loose or displaced cannot be relied upon to sit over the intended area. Follow the product instructions for cleaning, storage, impact inspection and replacement rather than putting inserts through a wash with the garment.
Moto Central's focused LS2 range makes the live insert types easy to compare without mixing in unrelated helmet products. If your garment uses a different system, browse the broader motorcycle body armour, back protector and chest protector collections.
No. Use the size and compatibility information for the exact jacket and protector. LS2 garment pockets can differ.
Not automatically. It is listed as a support belt and should not be treated as equivalent to a certified back insert.
Only if LS2 lists the protector and pocket as compatible. The correct shape, retention and orientation all matter.
