EVS motorcycle protection is built mainly for motocross, off-road and action-sports use. Moto Central's EVS range covers adult and youth body armour, roost deflectors, knee and elbow guards, neck supports, joint stabilisers and the base layers designed to sit beneath protective equipment.

EVS protection for motocross and off-road riding
EVS began in 1985 after its founders set out to develop a knee brace specifically for motocross. The brand's official history identifies the AMX-5 as its first motocross knee brace. That starting point developed into a broader range of body, limb and neck protection for track and trail use.
The current Moto Central collection reflects that wider direction but does not contain EVS helmets. Its strongest areas are upper-body armour, knee and elbow protection, neck supports, kidney belts and the close-fitting layers used with braces and guards.
What is in the EVS range?
Protection suits and roost deflectors
Comp suits and the G7 Ballistic Jersey combine several protective zones in one wearable system. Revo and F-series roost deflectors offer another approach to upper-body coverage, while the exact chest, back, shoulder and arm coverage varies by model.
Knee guards and braces
TP199, Slayco, Epic, Genesis and Option products are knee guards or pads. The youth SX01 is identified as a knee brace, while KS61 is a stabiliser. These terms should not be treated as interchangeable.
Elbow and arm protection
Epic, Flex Lite, Option and Option Air models cover adult, youth and mini sizing. Compare the protective area, fastening method and sleeve construction shown on each product page.
Neck supports
R2, R3 and R4 products include adult and youth options. Some are supplied with armour straps, so check the exact product title and contents rather than assuming every version is packaged the same way.
Joint and lower-back support
Shoulder and wrist stabilisers sit alongside kidney belts and wrist-support gloves. These are targeted products, so sizing, left or right orientation where applicable, and the intended activity all need checking.
Base layers and brace liners
TUG tops, shorts, knee-brace sleeves and Fusion sock-and-liner combinations are worn with other equipment. They can help with fit and separation from hard components, but they are not substitutes for the protective item itself.
How to choose EVS body armour
Decide which area needs coverage
Start with the riding and the body area you want to cover. A full protection suit can join several zones in one garment; a roost deflector concentrates on the torso; separate knee, elbow or neck products let you build a more modular setup. Read the individual product description for the exact areas included.
Understand guards, braces and stabilisers
A knee or elbow guard is primarily there to cover an impact zone. A brace is a more structured joint-control product, while a stabiliser is intended to add targeted support. EVS uses all three descriptions in this range. Choose according to the stated product function, not simply the amount of visible hard material.
Check adult, youth and mini sizing carefully
This collection contains a substantial youth range as well as adult products. Youth and mini labels refer to different fit groups, not just smaller colour options. Use the size guide on the exact product page and take the body measurements it requests. For paired guards, check both limbs and use the larger relevant measurement if they differ.
Plan how the pieces work together
Off-road equipment often overlaps. Confirm that knee protection will sit correctly with your boots and trousers, that a neck support can be positioned with your chosen chest or back protection, and that straps remain secure without creating pressure points. Try the complete combination in a normal riding position before use.
Read product-specific approval information
Do not assume every EVS item has the same certification or protection level. Where a product carries an impact-protection approval, the relevant standard and level should be stated on its label or product information. Base layers, stabilisers and protective shells also serve different purposes, so compare like with like.
Why buy EVS protection from Moto Central?
Moto Central groups the current adult and youth EVS products in one place while retaining separate categories for body armour, knees, elbows, neck and lower-back protection. That makes it easier to compare pieces by coverage and function instead of treating the range as one type of armour.
Individual pages provide the live size selector, product imagery and model-specific details available for each item. If you are assembling several pieces, check every component separately and make sure the combined fit still allows normal movement and control.
Customer questions
Does this EVS collection include motorcycle helmets?
No. The current Moto Central EVS collection contains armour, guards, supports, base layers and related accessories, but no helmets.
Is a knee guard the same as a knee brace?
No. A guard focuses on covering an impact area, while a brace is a more structured product intended to manage joint movement. Check how EVS classifies the specific model and what protection or support it is designed to provide.
Can adult and youth EVS products be chosen by age alone?
No. Age labels are only a starting point. Use the measurements and size guide for the exact product, because body proportions and the required fit vary between riders.
Are EVS TUG and Fusion products protective armour?
Not by themselves. TUG layers, brace sleeves and Fusion sock-and-liner combinations are supporting garments designed to be worn with other equipment. The separate armour or brace provides the main protective function.
