Wirksworth is around 53 road miles from our Wolvey showroom, and the journey generally takes about 1 hour 15 minutes. For riders coming out of the Derbyshire Dales, the trip offers a broad in-person choice that can justify travelling beyond the nearest small shop.
Out of the Derbyshire Dales
The usual line follows the A6 towards Derby, then uses the A38, A50, M1 and M69. Conditions around Derby can alter the preferred connection, so the linked driving map should decide the final route on the day.
A Showroom Visit with Enough Depth
Our showroom spreads rider equipment across two floors. That gives touring, road and sport riders space to compare complete outfits, while boots and gloves can be checked alongside the jackets and trousers they must suit.
Find the Right Helmet Interior
We show more than 1,000 helmets from Arai, Shoei, HJC, AGV, Shark, Scorpion, Schuberth, Bell and LS2. Trying several shapes is especially valuable before a longer ride home. Our team offers fitting help, and SHOEI PFS is available where suitable.
Touring, Road and Sport Departments
Clothing choice includes Alpinestars, Dainese, Rukka, Rev'it, Richa, RST and Held. Our dedicated fully stocked ladies' showroom gives women riders from Wirksworth a proper department to explore. We do not promise one exact size because stock changes.
Plan the Return to Wirksworth
If you have an online shortlist, Reserve & Try In Store can make the visit more efficient. There is still value in trying alternatives, then taking a free tea or coffee break before your second look.
Before returning north, make sure the preferred outfit remains comfortable after walking, bending and checking every closure a second time.
