Founding and Early Growth
ScorpionEXO began when KIDO Industrial launched its motorcycle helmet division in 2001. Soon afterwards, the brand expanded internationally. By 2003, they set up a USA office and built an R&D facility in Korea along with a factory in China. These early steps laid foundations for global reach and technical capability.
Establishing Reputation and Quality
From 2004 through 2010, ScorpionEXO earned recognition for satisfaction among riders. Its EXO‑700 model won acclaim for its balance of tech features and value. During this time, ScorpionEXO also certified its operations under industrial and technical bodies, strengthening trust in the brand’s engineering.
Innovation and Product Range Expansion
Between 2011 and 2015, the brand introduced helmets with advanced safety features, improved materials and better comfort. Models appealed to both sport and casual riders. Awards from specialist publications affirmed that the quality‑price ratio was among the best in its class.
Increasing Global Presence and Facilities
In recent years, ScorpionEXO continued scale‑up of production capacity and distribution. The brand built out manufacturing in Vietnam while also expanding partnerships in North America and Europe. Their flagship facility handles most production stages under one roof, including shell making, liner production, graphics, assembly and quality control.
