Product Details
The Sidi Crossair CE Motocross Boots in Black / Red are lightweight, competition-focused off-road boots developed for motocross, hard enduro and superenduro. Sidi combines an internal fibreglass-reinforced exoskeleton with an articulated support system to provide structure and movement without the bulk associated with many full-protection MX boots.
Sidi quotes a weight of 1,665 g in EU size 43. A slim inner panel improves contact with the motorcycle, while the Materiis rubber sole compound has been developed with professional riders to balance grip and durability. These boots have a regular fit and are offered here in EU sizes 37 to 50.

Protection and certification
Sidi lists the Crossair in its official EU conformity-document register for protective motorcycle footwear. The internal fibreglass-reinforced structure supports the boot through demanding off-road movement, while the hinge and anti-hyperextension systems are designed to permit controlled flex and restrict excessive movement. External protection covers the shin, side, metatarsal and toe areas.
Sidi has not published a protection-level code on the current product page, so no unverified EN 13634 performance ratings have been added here.
Construction and control
The Crossair is built around an engineered microfibre upper rather than a traditional leather shell. Its narrow inner face is shaped to sit close to the motorcycle, helping the rider maintain feel at the frame and controls. The dedicated Materiis sole is an Sidi-developed compound and should not be confused with the Vibram sole used on some other off-road footwear.
Sidi designs the Crossair with serviceable components to help extend its useful life. The micro-adjustable buckles and metatarsal inserts are specifically listed as replaceable. Replacement parts are not supplied with the boots and should be matched to the exact Crossair model.
Fit and size guide
Sidi describes the Crossair as a regular-fit boot. Measure from the heel to the end of the longest toe, ideally while wearing the type of riding sock you intend to use. If your feet differ in length, use the larger measurement. Off-road boots should hold the heel securely without crushing the toes, and enough calf adjustment should remain for your riding trousers and knee protection.

Questions and answers
Are the Sidi Crossair boots waterproof?
No waterproof membrane is listed for this model. The Crossair is designed primarily for lightweight off-road performance and protection, rather than waterproof touring use.
What type of riding are they designed for?
Sidi developed the Crossair for motocross, hard enduro and superenduro. Its low weight, articulated protection and close bike contact make it particularly suited to technical off-road riding and competition.
Does the Crossair use a Vibram sole?
No. This model uses Sidi's Materiis sole compound, developed with professional riders for off-road grip and durability.
Can worn parts be replaced?
Yes. Sidi specifically lists the micro-adjustable buckles and metatarsal inserts as replaceable and describes the Crossair as having interchangeable components. Always order parts for the exact Crossair model.
What warranty does Sidi provide?
Sidi currently advertises a two-year direct warranty for the Crossair. Warranty assessment depends on the nature of the fault and proof of purchase.
Moto Central fitting guidance
Motocross boots are deliberately more structured than road or casual footwear. Try both boots with your normal off-road socks and any knee protection that sits inside the boot. Check heel hold, toe clearance, ankle movement and buckle adjustment before riding.
