The ROOF RO9 Wisper Carbon in Matt Carbon is a lightweight open-face motorcycle helmet built around a panoramic visor and a carbon-fibre and fibreglass composite shell. ECE 22.06 J approval, a four-density EPS liner and a micrometric buckle provide the verified protective specification, while the wide 50% solar visor gives generous coverage for urban, roadster, custom and maxi-scooter riding.
ROOF supplies the visor with integrated anti-scratch and anti-fog treatments. The helmet is also designed for glasses and prepared for an optional intercom, with removable internal foam and dedicated space for components including a Sena 10R battery. The matt exposed-carbon finish gives this version its distinct appearance.

Panoramic visor and ventilation
The long visor is designed to extend the coverage expected from an open-face helmet while maintaining a broad field of vision. Its 50% solar tint reduces brightness without being described as a substitute for a clear visor in every light condition. The integrated anti-fog treatment means the Wisper visor is not designed for a separate Pinlock insert.
A closable upper air intake works with a rear extractor to support airflow through the helmet. Replacement clear, 50% solar, 100% solar and selected iridium Wisper visors are available separately, subject to road-use restrictions and availability.
Weight, comfort and intercom preparation
ROOF lists the fully equipped weight as approximately 1,250 g for sizes S, SM and M, and 1,280 g for sizes L, XL and XXL. Actual production weight can vary slightly. The removable lining uses ventilated, breathable fabric with antibacterial and quick-drying treatment.
Supplied adjustment pads fit into side pockets in the crown lining so small changes can be made to internal volume. Alternative cheek-pad thicknesses are available separately. The helmet is also shaped to accommodate glasses and is prepared for an intercom, with removable foam for speakers, microphone, battery and related components. An intercom is not included.
ROOF helmet size guide
Measure around the widest part of the head, normally just above the eyebrows and ears. Use the chart as a starting point, then check that the helmet feels firm and even around the whole head without painful pressure points. The intermediate SM size is intentional and sits between S and M.

Certification and warranty
The Wisper Carbon carries ECE 22.06 J approval as an open-face helmet. It is not a P/J modular helmet and does not provide the chin-bar coverage of a full-face design.
ROOF provides a three-year manufacturer warranty. A free four-year extension can increase the total warranty period to seven years when the helmet is registered through ROOF’s official website within 30 days of purchase, subject to the manufacturer’s terms. Keep the purchase invoice and supplied documentation.

Is a clear visor supplied?
No. ROOF lists a 50% solar visor as the standard visor for the Wisper Carbon. Compatible alternatives are available separately.
Can a Pinlock insert be fitted?
No. ROOF states that the Wisper visor uses an integrated anti-fog treatment and is not Pinlock compatible.
Is an intercom included?
No. The helmet is prepared for an optional intercom, but communication equipment is sold separately.
