ROOF RO9 Boxxer 2 Flip-Up Motorcycle Helmet Gloss Black combines ROOF's distinctive 180-degree rotating chin bar with an ECE 22.06-approved fibreglass shell. Its P/J dual homologation covers both full-face and open-face configurations, making it a versatile helmet for commuting, touring, roadster, custom and urban riding.
The Gloss Black finish is paired with ROOF's automatic chin-bar locking system, adjustable interior and broad aviator-style visor. Starting from approximately 1,600 g when fully equipped, the Boxxer 2 is designed to provide modular convenience without the top-heavy feel of a conventional raised flip-front.

180-degree modular design
The chin bar rotates fully to the rear of the shell. ROOF's patented FlexLocker system secures it in the open position, while P/J homologation permits road use in either approved configuration. Closing the chin bar against the front of the helmet engages the automatic lock. The sequential two-stage release can be operated with one hand.
Visors, airflow and visibility
A clear anti-scratch and anti-fog visor is fitted for everyday visibility, and ROOF also supplies a separate 100% solar anti-scratch visor for bright daytime conditions. The visor can be operated independently of the chin bar. Five air intakes and three extractors manage airflow, while the removable windguard helps limit air entering from below.
Compatible RO9 clear, tinted, iridium and photochromic visors are available separately. There is no internal drop-down sun visor. Always choose a visor suitable for the light conditions and applicable road-use requirements.
Comfort and intercom preparation
The lining is removable, washable and adjustable, with breathable Quick Dry fabric and an antibacterial treatment. Additional fitting pads are supplied for the side pockets inside the liner, and alternative cheek-pad thicknesses are available separately. Removable foam areas provide space for intercom speakers, microphone and battery, including a dedicated location for a Sena 10R battery. A boom microphone is normally the appropriate choice for this open-face and full-face design.

ROOF helmet size guide
Measure around the widest part of your head, approximately 2 cm above the eyebrows, passing above the ears and around the back of the skull. The helmet should feel firm and even without painful pressure points or movement when you turn your head.

What warranty applies?
ROOF provides a three-year warranty and offers a free four-year extension after registration, giving up to seven years in total subject to ROOF's registration and warranty conditions. ROOF requires the extension to be activated within 30 days of purchase.
